You know that talking to someone about the stress, anxiety, isolation or depression you are facing would help, but you don’t know how you will find the time. Maybe you haven’t found a local therapist you “click” with.

 

Online counseling and therapy might be the perfect option for you. Sarah is trained in providing online counseling and has extensive experience in telehealth. Your sessions take place in a safe, encrypted, HIPAA compliant platform that feels like a video call. All you need is a solid internet connection and a smartphone, tablet or computer.

Psychotherapy can help you discover your unique strengths and value, learn new ways of coping, and change old patterns that no longer serve you. We will work together to tackle what you deem most important.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance at this time. We are a boutique-style private practice that seeks to give you individualized attention and a high quality of services that is not based upon creation of diagnoses to prove "medical necessity"if they do not exist, to ensure confidentiality, as your therapy notes and treatment plans should remain between you and your therapist, not insurance auditors, to eliminate the risk of diagnoses impacting other areas of life such as applying for life insurance, and to provide you with the self-determination to decide when and how long you wish to work together.

Therapy is expensive, do you have a sliding scale?

We do not have a sliding scale. We believe that therapy is an investment in yourself and in your future, similar to a gym membership or saving for retirement. Counseling can provide a life-changing return on investment. We understand not everyone can afford therapy at this time, and we are happy to provide recommendations for community-baed or sliding scale practices that offer services at a reduced rate. 

I'm not sure I can afford therapy, what should I do?

Original Worth is an out-of-network mental health provider, meaning we don't bill insurance companies directly, but we can givey ou the medical receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if your plan provides coverage for out-of-network providers. 

Here's how it works: you pay us at the time of each session. On the first of the month you will receive a reciept for all of the previous month's sessions in your client portal. This is itemized and has the proper medical codes and info your insurance company needs to process your reimbursement. Download and submit the receipt to your insurance company's out-of-network coverage.  Your insurer will lieky apply the amount you've paid towards your deductible or reimburse you a percentage if you've already met the deductible. Original worth makes no guarantee that you will receive reimbursement from your insurance company.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, debit, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express at this time.

How frequently will we meet?

This is up to you and tailored to your individualized goals and treatment plan. Typically, we begin on a weekly basis. We provide evidence-based treatment to meet your goals, accommodate your schedule, and balance your financial needs.
